Celebrex
May also be referred to as Celecoxib. Celebrex is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug ( NSAID ) that represents a huge breakthrough in the treatment of pain, inflammation, and stiffness caused by arthritis. Also known as a COX-2 inhibitor, Celebrex is used to relieve the symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis in adults. Celebrex may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Soma is a muscle relaxant. It works by blocking nerve impulses ( or pain sensations ) that are sent to your brain.
Soma is used to treat injuries and other painful muscular conditions.
Sumatriptan is an antimigraine medicine. Migraine headaches are believed to result from dilatation of the blood vessels in the head. Sumatriptan causes constriction of the blood vessels, thus relieving migraine headache. While it is very effective in relieving migraine, it does not prevent or reduce the number of attacks of migraine.
Ultram / Tramadol
Probably the most popular prescribed medication for ease of migranes and chronic pain. Available as a Generic TRAMADOL.
Zanaflex
May also be referred to as Tizanidine. This is a muscle relaxant. It works by blocking nerve impulses ( or pain sensations ) that are sent to your brain. It is used to treat increased muscle tone associated with spasticity. It may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.
